Who is allowed to travel?

Due to the permanently low incidence in the Rheinisch Bergisch district, tourist travel is expected to be permitted again from 03 June in addition to business travel.

What does the gastronomic offer look like?

We serve breakfast buffet style in our Jan Wellem restaurant from 07:00am to 11:00am. When you arrive, you can conveniently choose a time so that you can have a hearty breakfast while observing the hygiene rules.

The gastronomic offer includes the entire indoor gastronomy of the hotel with the Trattoria Enoteca, the Restaurant Vendôme and the Lobby Bar. Outside, the terrace of the Trattoria Enoteca is open daily. The Resaurants Jan Wellem opens the terrace depending on the weather and additionally invites you to the castle dinner on Friday and Saturday evenings. We recommend reserving a table directly when booking your room.

There is no longer a test requirement for outdoor catering. An infinite number of people may sit together at the table from a maximum of 5 households.

A negative Corona test (PCR test, certified POC antigen test) taken no more than 48 hours ago is a prerequisite for visiting indoor catering. A maximum of 10 people from different households are allowed.

Due to the continuing dynamic situation, changes may also occur in the gastronomy sector at short notice.

Do I have to register for possible tracking?

Registration is required when you visit the restaurants. Please use the luca app.

Will my room be cleaned?

Yes, we clean your room daily on request. We will be happy to discuss your wishes individually with you on arrival.

The turn down service in the evening is only carried out on request.

Can I book/use massage/wellness treatments?

Wellness Treatments are allowed under observance of the known safety & hygiene precautions. A list of applications can be viewed online on the homepage. The pool and sauna area is open with a limited number of people in compliance with corona protection measures. The steam bath remains closed for the time being. All guests in the spa area must present a negative corona test (PCR test, certified POC antigen test) taken no more than 48 hours ago. A full vaccination or recovery will be considered equivalent to a negative test. Certificates are valid only in conjunction with a personal identification card.

Do I have to wear a mouth-nose protector in the hotel?

Yes, wearing medical or FFP2 mouth and nose protection is compulsory.

What do I need to consider for my journey?

What else is there to consider?

We recommend using the luca app in the restaurants. If you do not have a smartphone, a key fob provided with your personal data can also be used. You can obtain such a key fob in advance via the luca website.

What happens when I feel uncomfortable?

Please inform our reception and stay in the room.

Will the entire hotel be quarantined in the event of a Corona case or suspicion?

No. If a Corona case is suspected, the guest will be accommodated in a separate area of the hotel. The guest will remain there until the result of the PCR test is available.
