Classical Easter Matinée
with the symphony orchestra
Bergisch Gladbach

End your Easter celebration with a matinée and enjoy the classical sounds of the soloists and members of the Bergisch Gladbach Symphony Orchestra in the baroque ballroom.

Easter Matinée “On European Musical Paths”

A symphonic concert featuring works by Johann Sebastian Bach, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Antonín Dvořák & Camille Saint-Saëns.

Members and soloists of the Symphony Orchestra Bergisch Gladbach invite you to a matinée that takes you on a journey through 18th- and 19th-century Europe. Explore musical pathways from the High Baroque to Romanticism and experience masterworks from Germany, Austria, France, and the Czech Republic.

The program promises a multifaceted stylistic and tonal experience: violin, oboe, and piano appear as solo instruments in different combinations, accompanied by the orchestra. With their distinctive timbres, they unfold a rich emotional spectrum—from virtuosic brilliance to intimate poetry.

Musicians:

  • Alexander Lifland
  • Birgit Heydel (Violin)
  • Agnes Grube (Oboe)
  • Roman Salyutov (Piano & Conductor)
