Cologne's wunderkind Mikail Akar will be showcasing his exhibition "Evolution" at the Althoff Grandhotel Schloss Bensberg from June 13th to 15th, 2025.
The 12-year-old artist from Cologne, Mikail Akar, is considered the youngest abstract artist whose works are in demand and exhibited around the globe. Known for his abstract style, Mikail has already held numerous exhibitions, including at the NRW State Parliament, St. Stephen’s Cathedral in Vienna, and the world-renowned Guggenheim Museum in New York.
Today, his artworks are highly sought after by collectors and celebrities worldwide. Major international media outlets including Fox News, BBC News, Yahoo, and the New York Post have also reported on his remarkable talent.
Mikail often creates vibrant, color-intense paintings, drawing inspiration from great contemporary artists such as Jackson Pollock, Jean-Michel Basquiat, and Gerhard Richter. He continuously explores new techniques by watching videos and lets his creative spirit flow freely on the canvas.
From June 13 to 15, 2025, you can admire a selection of his works in the baroque ballroom of the Althoff Grandhotel Schloss Bensberg. The exhibition will be open to the public on June 14 and 15th from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
To celebrate the grand opening, Mikail Akar invites you to the vernissage on June 14th, 2025. You will have the opportunity to view his latest works and, with a bit of luck, even acquire one or two paintings.
