Our wedding room - Salon Zanetti

Get married in the most beautiful historic wedding room in the Bergisches Land and say "I do" with a view over the Rhineland: The Althoff Grandhotel Schloss Bensberg is an official branch of the registry office of the city of Bergisch Gladbach. Move your civil wedding ceremony to a dreamlike castle ambience and experience your celebration in an extraordinary setting!

Civil wedding ceremonies are usually only possible on Saturdays (between 11:00 am and 04:00 pm - depending on the availability of the registrar).

Reservation

The scheduling and registration takes place directly via the registry office of the city in which you have registered your primary residence. There you indicate that the wedding should take place at the Grandhotel Schloss Bensberg. The respective registry office will then forward the information to the Bergisch Gladbach registry office. The Bergisch Gladbach registry office will then send us a confirmation. Only then is the wedding hall reserved for you.

You can obtain further information from the Bergisch Gladbach registry office on the following telephone number: 02202 - 142 232. The registration can be made at the earliest 6 months before the wedding date.

The wedding hall in the castle - Salon Zanetti

The wedding hall can accommodate up to 40 people in rows of chairs. The room is reserved for you for one hour, which means that you also have the opportunity to organise a beautiful ceremony with music, piano, singing or similar. We will be happy to help you with this and arrange contacts.

Costs

We are happy to offer you the wedding ceremony without any further service obligations. In this case, the room hire fee is € 2,500.00. If you are also planning a larger reception or celebration with a minimum turnover of € 2,500.00 for food and drinks, we will be happy to reduce the hire fee to € 990.00. A beautiful flower arrangement for the wedding table is already included in the room hire fee. In the months of October to April, reduced room hire rates are available on certain dates without a minimum spend.

If you are also planning a subsequent champagne reception, a celebration or a dinner at our hotel, we will be happy to advise you. We look forward to your ideas!

Open air wedding ceremony

In good weather, a free wedding ceremony can take place romantically in the shade of the lime trees in the castle courtyard or under a romantic flower arch in the rose garden.

We are also happy to help you organise an open-air wedding ceremony with a friendly freelance speaker or theologian. The location of the wedding ceremony can be freely chosen in and around the castle. There are a number of marvellously romantic locations.
