Begin your journey of discovery through the culinary world of the Grand Hotel with the Château Lafite-Rothschild winegrower's dinner on 20 November 2024. One of the world's most renowned wine estates is doing the honours and we cordially invite you to dine together in the Restaurant Vêndome in the historic Bensberg Castle.
The monthly Eatalian after-work events in the Salvador Dalí Bar or on the terrace ‘Unter den Linden’ are a great way to end the day from 05:00 to 10:00 pm with stimulating conversations, live music and drinks from the varied drinks menu.

Antipasti and grissini instead of coffee and cake - the Trattoria Enoteca now offers a Tavola Aperitivo every Friday to Sunday in the late afternoon. Here you can enjoy a late lunch or an early dinner just like in Italy, in fine weather even on one of the most beautiful terraces in the Bergisches Land. The Tavola comprises a two-course menu including a glass of wine and takes place from 04:00 pm to 05:30 pm.
Aromatic tapas, juicy chorizo and Spanish barbecue specialities in a Mediterranean ambience on the terrace - the Spanish Barbecue Friday promises all of this in front of the stunning castle backdrop. In an almost Mediterranean atmosphere under the lime trees, you can ring in the weekend with an evening full of flavour and conviviality.

Some of the culinary highlights of the week have become true classics at the Althoff Grandhotel Schloss Bensberg. For example, the Sogliola per due persone. Sole is one of the finest and best edible fish, which is why it is presented in a very special way in the Trattoria Enoteca every Monday and Wednesday evening. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, guests dine at Officina della Bistecca as they would at the famous Tuscan butcher Dario Cecchini's in Panzano in Chianti and enjoy a traditional Tuscan butcher's feast in three courses.
In the Salvador Dalí Bar , the motto on these evenings is Crevettes á discretion. The prawns, absolute highlights of Spanish cuisine, are served in hot garlic-chilli olive oil and ‘free flow’ - together with freshly baked baguette, salad and half a bottle of white wine.
