Our “Genusswerkstatt”
Exclusive experiences, intimately personal or as an event
A miniature of the native Weißach river flows through the long stone tablet. And the best GAGGENAU appliances are perfect for cooking with our professionals.
What an ambience! Here you can discover the most beautiful details everywhere: Old feed troughs were brought from alpine pastures in the Tegernsee valley, benches were covered with coarse saddle leather and even ancient wood found a new use here.
Fährhütte 14
Beachclub, restaurant and event location
This location is unbeatable: on the shores of Lake Tegernsee, the Fährhütte14 immerses you in a truly special atmosphere. In summer, the private beach exudes a carefree beach club feeling with sun loungers, cool drinks and a lounge area; in winter, cosy warmth with chalet charm. Our Fährhütte14 is available for exclusive hire: a civil ceremony on the beach, a corporate event on the sailing ketch, or an evening on the open-air dance floor.
The Lake Garden

There are places that speak for themselves. The Seegarten of the Althoff Seehotel Überfahrt is one of them. Spanning 700 m² amid lush greenery, it opens up an unobstructed view of Lake Tegernsee and the Alps.
Whether a festive family celebration, an elegant picnic, an atmospheric barbecue, or a refreshing break during a business meeting: the Seegarten creates the setting in which events become unforgettable experiences.
The terraces
Four terraces offer space for up to 80 people
For summer events and balmy evenings, we offer four terraces to choose from. Three of them are situated in front of our conference rooms, while a fourth adjoins our cookery school, the Genusswerkstatt. All of them offer magnificent views of the water and are perfectly suited for rounding off the day as the lake shimmers in the last golden rays of evening light.
