Pearl & Truffle Session

On 1 November 2020 you can experience two highlights in one day! Markus Rüsch, probably the best caviar trader in Germany, and the "truffle pope" Stefan Burger are looking forward to share their secrets about their products with you. The Caviar Masterclass and the official start of the Alba truffle season starts at 10:30 am at our location "Genusswerkstatt". Afterwards, Christian Jürgens and his team will serve a 6-course menu in which caviar and Alba truffle play the leading role.

A special wish of Christian Jürgens is to help und support fellow human beings. For this reason, half of EUR 80 per participant will be donated to "Stiftung KinderHerz" and the SyltKlinik of the German Childhood Cancer Foundation.

What to expect on Sunday, 1st of November 2020

Caviar & Alba truffle masterclass at the event location "Genusswerkstatt":

Markus Rüsch will taste with you all the caviar varieties he has in his repertoire and reveal a few secrets. He will explain to you personally the differences, special features and typical characteristics of the individual caviar varieties. Afterwards Stefan Burger presents you the first Alba truffle of the season. According to this extraordinary occasion, the appropriate glass of champagne is a must.

Pearls & Truffles Session

Similar to a jam session, Christian Jürgens created extraordinary dishes together with Markus Rüsch and Stefan Burger to accompany the tasted caviar and the Alba truffle.

The 6-course menu including sweet conclusion with dessert and petit fours is served at the Restaurant Überfahrt. The dishes are accompanied by champagne from the best wineries in Champagne.

Half of EUR 80.00 per participant will be donated to the foundation "KinderHerz" and the SyltKlinik of the German Childhood Cancer Foundation
