Ten bands, four streets, two stages: in 2019, popular and well-known bands from home and abroad will give the Celler Streetparade a touch of New Orleans. Marching and brass bands march swinging and grooving through the narrow streets of the picturesque old town or perform musical "battles" with other bands. Others entertain the Celler audience on stages.
Enjoyment - that's the magic word at the Celler Wine Market, a traditional event known far beyond the borders of the royal capital. Here you can enjoy and relax in a stylish atmosphere. In the foreground are wines from the classic German growing areas. But also fine international wines are waiting to be tasted. In 2018, the Celle Stallion Parade presented itself with a new concept. The traditional event, in which the Celle compatriots presented their versatile skills in varied graphs, has been extended by a large exhibition area. Artists and artisans showed their objects and sculptures, flower growers presented their latest arrangements. Fashion and design has also enriched the exhibition, such as the themes of horse, dog and hunting. The supporting program was accompanied by atmospheric music and rounded off with a romantic ambience of pagoda tents in front of the historic backdrop of the state stud.
And once again, in the picturesque setting of the half-timbered houses, the castle, the castle park and the French Garden, an atmosphere of bygone times is to be resurrected. A fascinating symbiosis that can only be found in the royal city of Celle.
